Founded by the artist Lauren Halsey in 2020, Summaeverythang is a community center based in South Central Los Angeles.
At Frieze Los Angeles 2025, Summaeverythang Community Center is showcasing distinct projects and panel discussion, showcasing the organization’s vision for a permanent hub offering education, health, wellness, and art through creativity, connection and empowerment.
- The art booth, created in collaboration with Alake Shilling and students from Bret Harte Preparatory Middle School and Rosebud Academy, highlights the creativity of the youth from South Central and Altadena through a special installation.
- Additionally, the Summaeverythang Community Center booth provides insight into the vision for the permanent center, offering visitors an opportunity to learn more about its mission and upcoming programs.
- Rounding out its presence at Frieze, Summaeverythang is hosting a panel discussion with architect Barbara Bestor, who will delve into the innovative design and purpose behind the future Summaeverythang Community Center, illustrating how thoughtful architecture can serve as a catalyst for community transformation.
