Lorraine O’Grady is an artist and writer. A collection of her writing, Writing in Space, 1973–2019 (2020), is published by Duke University Press. ‘Both/And’, her retrospective at the Brooklyn Museum, New York, USA, is on view until 18 July. In 2021, her work will be included in group exhibitions at the Gracie Mansion Conservancy, New York, McEvoy Foundation for the Arts, San Francisco, USA, and Bowdoin College Museum of Art, USA. She lives in New York.
