Chisenhale Gallery is hosting a live online event for Frieze VIPs and Chisenhale Friends, Patrons and Supporters to celebrate Becoming Alluvium by Thao Nguyen Phan, currently showing at the gallery. With a welcome from Chisenhale Gallery Director, Zoé Whitley, the event includes a conversation between Chisenhale Gallery Curator: Commissions, Ellen Greig and Thao Nguyen Phan, who will discuss Phan’s current exhibition. Becoming Alluvium is the first solo exhibition in a UK institution by Phan and continues her ongoing research about the Mekong River which runs through Tibet, China, Burma, Thailand, Laos, Cambodia and Vietnam.
