Digital Event - Cooper Cole: Virtual In-conversation on Brie Ruias' New Sculptural Works

Brie Ruais makes ceramic sculptural works that pull people into relation with the Earth.  Her practice has evolved through various relationships: her physical relationship to clay, the clay’s relationship to the earth, and the work’s relationship to mapping movement.

In conjunction with Frieze London, Brie Ruais will discuss her new sculptural works with Magdalyn Asimakis, and reflect on her interest in materiality, deep time, and ways of knowing that are rooted in the body.
