Digital Event - Kalfayan Galleries: Virtual Studio Visit with Greek-Egyptian Artist, Farida El Gazzar

On Saturday, 10th October, Kalfayan Galleries are organizing a virtual studio visit with Greek-Egyptian artist, Farida El Gazzar. She offers an insight into her ‘traveling’ studio: from the veranda of a summer house on the North coasts of Alexandria to the current location in the living room of her home in Athens, as was the case also during lockdown. In her latest series El Gazzar is driven by an inner need to “draw” moments of meditation in lush “night gardens” in Cairo; peaceful oasis in the emotional desert of modern day life.
