A new artistic initiative, the R.U.in.ART Performance, which will be presented at Frieze Los Angeles 2019. Working together, Ruinart and Frieze have selected Los Angeles-based artist, Emily Mast, to create a performance piece inside the Ruinart lounge as part of the fair’s backlot program.
The R.U.in.ART Performance aims to reinforce and celebrate Ruinart’s commitment to the arts, and to the thriving Los Angeles scene by engaging all fairgoers with an immersive and original experience by a local artist.
Taking inspiration from the idea of a celebratory “champagne moment”, Mast has created a new commission which challenges the way we interact with art.
The R.U.in.ART Performance strives to enhance the partnership between Frieze and Ruinart, whilst highlighting both brands’ commitment to collaborating with emerging artists and enabling them to create new work.
Performances will take place on the hour, every hour in the Ruinart Lounge on the backlot of Frieze Los Angeles.
