Frieze Connect members are invited to an artist-led walkthrough of I’ve been here all along, I’ve been waiting, a solo exhibition by Igshaan Adams at The Hill Art Foundation. Bringing together work from over fifteen years of Adams’ practice, the exhibition traces his ongoing exploration of spiritual discovery and community engagement. Central to the presentation is the recurring motif of the rose, a symbol of beauty, pain, and transformation inspired by the artist’s Sufi teacher, Ma Rukea. The works on view—ranging from intricate weavings and sculptural forms to suspended wire and bead compositions—reflect Adams’ collaborative process with local artisans and his interest in the intersection of the sacred and the everyday.
Following the walkthrough, members are invited to an end-of-year cocktail reception at Bottino, which is conveniently located directly across the street from The Hill Art Foundation. Canapés and refreshments will be served from 7 - 9:30pm.
