New York | Private Artist Walkthrough: Sam Moyer’s "Woman with Holes" at Hill Art Foundation

May, 2025
Chelsea, New York

Frieze 91 members are invited to an intimate artist-led walkthrough of Woman with Holes, a forthcoming exhibition at the Hill Art Foundation, guided by artist and curator Sam Moyer.

Opening May 1stWoman with Holes presents a dynamic survey of Moyer’s work, from early dyed canvas pieces to her signature stone paintings and recent handmade paper works. The exhibition places these in conversation with selections from the Hill Collection, including works by Isamu Noguchi, Jasper Johns, Liz Glynn, and Robert Gober. Together, these pieces explore shifting perceptions, unexpected materiality, and the dreamlike tension between the familiar and the abstract.

This special morning program offers members a unique opportunity to hear directly from the artist about her process and curatorial vision.
