As part of Frieze New York's tribute to the Vision & Justice Project, Frieze hosts an online screening of HBO's documentary Black Art: In the Absence of Light (2021) inspired by the extraordinary impact of David Driskell’s landmark 1976 exhibition, Two Centuries of Black American Art, is an introduction to the work of some of the foremost African American visual artists working today.
