What are the dates of the fair?
The third edition of Frieze Los Angeles will launch February 17–20, 2022.
What is the location of the fair?
The fair will be moving to a new location in Beverly Hills, situated at 9900 Wilshire Boulevard, adjacent to the Beverly Hilton Hotel.
Who is the Director of the fair?
Rebecca Ann Siegel is the Director of Americas and Content, overseeing Frieze Los Angeles and Frieze New York. Amanda Sharp and Matthew Slotover are the founders of Frieze.
What is the focus of the fair?
Frieze Los Angeles largely focuses on contemporary art and celebrate the exceptionally dynamic culture of Los Angeles and its global contributions to the visual arts. The full program and list of participating galleries will be announced at a future date.
How big is the fair?
Frieze Los Angeles will bring together around 80 of the most significant and forward-thinking galleries from across the city and around the world. The fair experience will be completed by Frieze Week events across the city. The full program and list of participating galleries will be announced at a future date.
How are the galleries selected for the fair?
For Frieze Los Angeles 2022, there will be an application process and galleries will need to submit an application form. The application deadline is in May and the selection is made in August. The selection is made by a committee of gallerists who participate in the fair; the fair Directors chair the meeting but do not vote.
Who is on the committee?
The Frieze Los Angeles 2021 Committee members are: Daniela Gareh, White Cube, London; David Kordansky, David Kordansky Gallery, Los Angeles; Mara McCarthy, The Box, Los Angeles; Shaun Regen, Regen Projects, Los Angeles.
