BOAN1942 ARTSPACE BOAN 1
BOAN INN, which had accommodated wanderers and wayfarers for nearly eighty years, renewed its operation as a hub of cultural production for creators of all kinds in 2007. Built upon layers of countless breaths and traces that comers-and-goers had etched into the space, BOAN INN expanded its function as an art space into today’s BOAN1942 in 2017. Comprising three distinct exhibition spaces, ARTSPACE BOAN explores the potential of diverse media that illuminate the current state of contemporary art and hosts artistic practices that question and restructure the system of cultural populism.
