Founded by Francesca Migliorati and Chiara Rusconi in the historic Palazzo Cigola Fenaroli in Brescia in 2008, APALAZZOGALLERY is a contemporary art gallery that collaborates with both emerging young artists and established institutional names, both Italian and international. The gallery is committed to developing a multidisciplinary and cross-generational programme. APALAZZOGALLERY organises exhibitions centred on a specific theme or, alternatively, on the work of a single artist. Every project is rooted in a lengthy and attentive dialogue between the gallery space and the artist; this often results in an exhibition where the artworks engage with the space in innovative ways, creating intricate connections with the architecture of the palace. The gallery fosters and sustains this dialogue through artist residencies. APALAZZOGALLERY promotes the artists’ work through Italian and international art fairs and curatorial projects.
