Originally built as a family home in 1988, Lee Eugean Gallery opened in Seoul in November, 2011. Named after its founder, the gallery embodies a full range of genres, which includes painting, sculpture, photography, media art, craftsmanship, design and architecture. Every aspect of the gallery takes careful consideration of the experience- as refected through their unique residential setting. Through this, the gallery presents a wide and diverse range of contemporary Korean paintings by talented young and mid-career artists who are actively engaged in both domestic and international art markets.
