Frieze New York brings together the world’s leading galleries to showcase ambitious solo, group and themed presentations by pioneering artists and offers the opportunity to not only discover up-and-coming talent but also engage with some of art history’s most important figures.

The 15th edition of Frieze New York returns to The Shed from May 13-17, 2026 and will feature approximately 70 galleries, collaborations with nonprofit organizations and ambitious performance-led programming.
The Galleries section welcomes ambitious solo, dual and group proposals from galleries representing international artists and showing a regular program of exhibitions.
The Focus section will be advised by Lumi Tan for the third year. Focus is dedicated to solo presentations by young galleries formed in or after 2014. This section benefits from a subsidized rate.
Gallery Selection Process
For Frieze New York 2026, galleries are invited to submit an application to participate in the fair. Applications close in September 2025 and the selection will be made by a committee of gallerists who participate in the fair; the fair Director chairs the meeting but does not vote. Application results will be released in November 2025.
