Job Title: Content Producer

Contract Type: Permanent, Full Time (35 hours per week)

Location: London Office

Please note, There may be travel to New York, Los Angeles, Seoul and elsewhere for film shoots. Working hours during the fair can fall outside the usual office hours of 10am–6pm.

As part of the Frieze Branded Content team, the Content Producer works on videos and editorial promoting and documenting all five Frieze Fairs, as well as year-round content for VIP and Membership audiences. 

Working closely with the Creative Lead of Branded Content, this is a research-based and editorial role which collaborates with departments across the company to plan and deliver Frieze video and digital content, from news articles, adverts and social clips, to artist profiles and the documentation of talks and performances.   

Project Management & Research

· Supporting the Creative Lead on timelines of content delivery for multiple international fairs and concurrent projects  

· Prepare for and attend team and cross-department meetings on a regular basis, following up on any action points

· Assisted by a coordinator, working on regular outreach for fair gallery information and images 

· Assisted by a coordinator, overseeing a database of fair images and presentation information, provided by galleries and curators 

· Finding highlights and trends in fair presentations, to inform the content strategy, and creating accessible briefing materials (assisted by a coordinator) 

Video & Written Editorial

· Under the direction of the Creative Lead, develop concepts and storyboards for video and editorial

· Preparing guidelines and talking points for Frieze spokespeople

· Briefing freelance videographers and editors; providing and coordinating feedback on video edits

· Attending video shoots to advise on filming and conduct interviews, as needed

· Organising insurance, contracts, waivers, risk assessments and logistics for film shoots 

· Coordinating with video crews onsite at Frieze fairs

· Write copy in Frieze’s voice, with the ability to maintain the brand’s standards and tone

· Drafting and editing video articles, written interviews, profiles and round-ups 

Website & Digital 

· Creating articles and uploading videos to frieze.com, on time and according to SEO and Frieze style guidelines 

· Working with the website coordinator and marketing team, to make sure that video and written editorial are visible and searchable on frieze.com 

· Advising on structure and navigation for Fair pages of frieze.com 

· Working with the social media coordinator to make sure videos and images are posted correctly 

· Reporting on digital performance for all content 

Key Results Areas

· Manage the production of video and digital content in a timely and cost-effective manner

· Create content with high engagement on social media and frieze.com

· Monitor budgets for freelance cinematographers and editors, ensuring that they stay on track

Person Specification

Knowledge and Experience

· Experience within a related environment such as a commercial gallery, museum, international art fair or publication

· Knowledge and awareness of artists and the art world

· 2+ years’ experience in communications, marketing or production

· Ability to work under pressure, with high attention to detail

· A strong sense of what constitutes clear, concise and articulate writing

· A strong sense of what constitutes a compelling video or social media edit

Proven track record of delivering projects to deadline

Desirable

· Experience in producing or editing video

Skills and Abilities

Mandatory 

· Native or bilingual proficiency in English

· A proven ability to work to tight deadlines and stay calm under pressure

· An excellent copywriter

· Impeccable proofreading and editing skills

· Capable of managing logistical duties while also using eye for detail to implement the creative aspects of production

· Ability to propose conceptual outlines and produce original ideas that maintain the Frieze brand identity

· Proven ability to multitask many different responsibilities and collaborate with a wide range of teams, while maintaining a keen eye for details

· Highly organised, exceptional communication skills and the ability to prioritise competing tasks

Desirable

· Website editing experience

Qualifications and Training

Mandatory 

· Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent
