Digital Data Analyst

Frieze is in the process of executing a successful digital pivot. The new position of Digital Data Analyst within the Data Team has been created to harness the huge potential in data from our new digital platforms to drive value from our user base. Frieze has an unrivalled opportunity within our market to build up a world-leading data-driven CRM program for HNW art collectors. Further, we are building a membership programme based on a subscription model, critical to which is a firm understanding of how our content and experience motivates and converts audience segments within our market; this new role sits at the heart of a transition.



  • Setting up and managing data capture tools, techniques and opportunities to optimise product performance and drive the value of our customer relationships through data
  • Processing and analysing data captured across platforms and services to produce decision-making insight and understanding
  • Assisting in the development of data architecture and planning our technical roadmap to maximise the strategic opportunities for data to drive value within the organisation
  • Ability to deliver ongoing analytics up-skilling programme to editorial and sales teams
  • Technical ownership for Google Analytics accounts (and the associated tag management), Power BI reporting and all necessary data querying and reporting
  • Developing a suite of insight dashboards for internal teams

Experience Required

  • 3+ years of relevant analytical experience
  • Proficient with SQL and statistical programming or other query languages (e.g. Python)
  • Build statistical and forecasting models to meet reporting, business and product needs
  • Inform, set and track key results for our product 
  • 3+ years’ experience of Google Analytics and Google Tag Manager in a digital media context, ideally with experience in driving subscription / recurring revenue models
  • Strong working experience in consuming data from external APIs
  • Power user of MS Excel
  • Experienced user of Power BI, Google Data Studio etc. for dashboarding or visualisation
  • Understanding of database modelling and development
  • General experience with Big Data or Data Warehousing technologies an advantage
  • Working knowledge of HTML/CSS/Javascript

Working Conditions

  • This is a permanent position.
  • Please note, remote working set up until lockdown restrictions have been lifted.
  • Working hours are 10:00 – 18:00, Monday to Friday 
  • Occasional travel and weekend work may be required
