Patty Chang and Jiab Prachakul

10 - 26 March

Friends Indeed Gallery, from San Francisco, presented a two-person exhibition of Patty Chang and Jiab Prachakul.

Over the past 14 years, Jiab Prachakul has pursued an entirely self-taught practice, making portraits of her flock of friends, many of whom are involved with fashion, film, and the visual arts. Patty Chang, an LA-based artist, works with performance, video, installation, and narrative when considering identity, gender, transnationalism, the environment, and impacted subjectivities. Her most recent video project “Milk Debt” combines the act of lactation with people’s unspoken fears.
