Press Office Manager (Temporary)

At Frieze we believe art is vital to communities and cultures. Bringing together galleries, artists, institutions, and art lovers all over the world to make art flourish.

Frieze is a media and events company that comprises three publications, frieze magazine, Frieze Masters Magazine and Frieze Week; and five international art fairs, Frieze London, Frieze LA, Frieze New York, Frieze Seoul (launching September 2022) and Frieze Masters; regular talks and summits, led by frieze editors; and frieze.com – the definitive resource for contemporary art and culture.

The Press Office Manager will oversee the logistics of the press office for Frieze London and Frieze Masters. This is a busy role that will organise all aspects of media attendance at both fairs and oversee the onsite press office at the fair – the role will require coordination of the press accreditation system and invitations to fair which allow for media access, vetting credentials and management of more junior temporary staff. This role is ideal for someone who relishes schedules and organisation, some familiarity with arts media and writers is advantageous but not a must. It is however a busy, demanding position so the ability to remain cool under pressure is essential.

The role is to start in July and last until the end of October – there is also the requirement for some data management after the fairs.

Deadline for applications: 30 June 2022
