Frieze London 2025 sees the return of special section Artist-to-Artist – supported for the first time this year by Official Partner Tiffany & Co. Featuring presentations by six emerging voices each selected by a renowned artist, Artist-to-Artist is a unique display of peer affirmation and creative community.
For this year’s edition, Camille Henrot has selected artist Ilana Harris-Babou to present in the section. In this video, the pair meet in Henrot’s New York studio, where Harris-Babou explains how the new sculpture and video work that she will show at Frieze London is a ‘love letter to New York City’, inspired by the palimpsest of collective traces found in shared public spaces.
‘What I love about Ilana’s work,’ says Henrot, ‘is it brings invisible things into tangible objects.’
