Naudline Pierre's solo presentation with James Cohan gallery at Frieze New York 2023 has been hailed as a highlight of the fair. The New York Times has described how her 'mytho-spiritual' paintings, turn Cohan’s booth "into a grotto-like chapel of rich colors and swirling figures."

We speak to the artist about her works which draw on the history of European art, personal mythology and canonical narratives of devotion, to conjure alternative, utopian realms.

Pierre will present "This Is Not All There Is", a solo exhibition at The Drawing Center in New York from June 2 to September 3, 2023.
