Art:LIVE is a series of original video content that brings to the viewer accessible expert insights into recent developments in contemporary art and culture, produced in partnership with Frieze’s Global Lead Partner Deutsche Bank.
As Ted Loos reported recently in the New York Times, in May ‘all eyes turn to New York for what may be the busiest single art month of the year anywhere’. Central to this phenomenon is Frieze New York, which this year brings together 60 galleries spanning 25 countries for its 12th edition.
Presented by Matthew McLean, Art:LIVE reports from in and around the Shed, Frieze New York’s partner venue, covering stand-out gallery presentations and emerging talents to watch, meeting legendary local artists and institutions shaping the city’s cultural scene and giving a first look at the fair’s ambitious program of live performance.
