Frieze Connect members are invited to the Korean Cultural Center New York for a special evening of art and music.
The evening will include a private tour of the current exhibition, Chang Ucchin: The Eternal Home, followed by a live performance by Korean chamber music group OnDream Ensemble.
Chang Ucchin (1917–1990) was a seminal figure in establishing Korean modernism, developing a distinctive artistic style that embodies a sense of innocence and playfulness. His work has become a cornerstone of modern and contemporary Korean art, leaving behind a significant legacy that reflects his deep affection for family, home, and nature.
OnDream Ensemble, founded in 2014, is Korea’s premier chamber music group composed of top scholarship students in classical music. Through rigorous training, master classes with renowned musicians, and elite performance programs, the ensemble has cultivated a reputation for musical excellence. Their repertoire bridges traditional Korean melodies and contemporary compositions — offering a rare and elegant sonic experience that embodies the past, present, and future of Korean culture.
