Frieze 91 members are invited to an evening of cocktails & conversation with guest speakers Sophie Ashby and Gianluca Longo.
The evening will start with welcome drinks followed by a conversation on placing art, how it changes our experience of our private spaces and the joy of living in beautifully designed homes amidst beautiful objects and art.

Sophie Ashby is half South African, half English and grew up between Stellenbosch (Cape Town) and the UK before broadening her architectural and design sensibility through a BA in History of Art at Leeds University, going on to study Interior Design at Parsons, The New School for Design in Manhattan, New York.
Studio Ashby was named Interior Designer of the Year by Elle Decoration and House & Garden in 2021 and she has also been awarded a Contribution to Design Award by Homes & Gardens. Sophie is a Frieze 91 Committee Member and a guest speaker at Central St Martins and the Royal College of Art. Studio Ashby is also a House & Garden Top 100 design studio, one of the 1st Dibs 50 as well as Country&TownhouseTop50designers. Gianluca Longo is the Style Director of The World of Interiors. Born in Puglia and based in London, his 24-year long career in magazines has exposed him to the best of fashion, art and design and he has worked with some of the best photographers in the industry. He was previously Style Editor of British Vogue and Cabana Magazine, and European Editor of W magazine.
Gianluca has also worked as style consultant for luxury brands such as Tods, Ginori 1735, Ralph Lauren, Poliform, Dior Maison and Tory Burch. He sits on the executive board of Oxford’s Pitt Rivers Museum, and he is part of the Press Committee of the British Fashion Council.
