Casa Perfect is a residential concept gallery, curated with works from a roster of American and International artists. The venue offers the time and space to explore the studio crafted pieces that define the Future Perfect aesthetic.
Casa Perfect is housed within a 1971 Beverly Hills mansion designed by local architect Raul F. Garduno. The residence possesses a seductive low-rise silhouette with long curving hallways and floor to ceiling windows that afford panoramic views of the L.A. basin. When one steps inside, its clear that the home has been largely preserved from its seventies heydey, with a profusion of period details including wall-to-wall ochre carpet, vertical blinds, a sunken Roman style jacuzzi and popcorn ceilings. This muted, but identifiably seventies aesthetic was embraced by gallery founder David Alhadeff who believes the era’s design and architecture is undergoing a serious critical reassessment.
Within the sprawling four-bedroom, four-bath, 5,000-square-foot residence Casa Perfect presents a masterclass in contemporary collectible design. Established names such as Lindsay Adelman, Reinaldo Sanguino and Chris Wolston are layered against vibrant pieces from Ben Mendansky, Chen Chen and Kai Williams and Bari Ziperstein.
The gallery’s dynamic programming, which means the house is constantly evolving in its look and feel, will continue to place an emphasis on the best of cutting edge American and international artists. The home is sited within Trousdale Estates, a wooded enclave above Sunset Boulevard that emerged as one of the world’s foremost hubs of modernist architecture in the 50’s and 60’s. The neighborhood’s Master Architects, including Wallace Neff, Harold Levitt and Frank Lloyd Wright.
