Since its opening in 2013, G Gallery has established itself as one of Korea's leading contemporary galleries by discovering talented young Korean and international artists and presenting a wide range of curated exhibitions. Based on active communication with artists and a deep interest in sculptural discovery, G Gallery has been organizing a unique program that introduces art from various fields such as painting, video, and installation.
Since 2019, the gallery has been running 'Great Exhibition', a program to foster emerging artists in their 20s and 30s, through which one artist is selected each year to hold a solo exhibition. In addition, by presenting their work at art fairs both domestically and abroad, the gallery provides the young artists with a foundation for forming diverse connections.
Ultimately, G Gallery, which aims to expand the base of art, has been organizing various projects and exhibitions with museums to lower the barrier between the public and art. The gallery will continue to strive to enhance the artistic value of various artists and demonstrate the diversity of contemporary art through continuous support for artistic production and exploratory exhibitions.
