KAYOKOYUKI is an art gallery in Tokyo founded by Kayoko Yuki in 2013. It is located in Komagome — the northern part of Tokyo — surrounded by a calm and quiet downtown atmosphere along with the historic Garden nearby. The gallery space, formally an old wooden warehouse with a large south-faced window installed, allows soft natural light to pour in.
Artists represented include Nobuya Hitsuda, Kenji Ide, Yohei Imamura, Shiho Kagabu, Kazuki Matsushita, Kate Newby, Yutaka Nozawa, Ayako Ohno, Emi Otaguro, Michi Suwa, Daichi Takagi, Masanori Tomita, and Evelyn Taocheng Wang.
KAYOKOYUKI collaborates with artists whose works carefully question their experiences and the mysteries arising from them. Using ephemeral images derived from various daily objects in their lives to create works that offer hints for coexisting in today's society of divergent values and social fragmentation.
