Nearly 50 years after the founding of its curatorial department devoted to the Arts of Africa, Oceania, and the Americas, The Met is partnering with architect Kulapat Yantrasast, founder of WHY Architecture, on a complete renovation of the Michael C. Rockefeller Wing, begun in late 2020.
