Responsibilities include:
- Close communication with staff based in the gallery and on-site
- Assist clients and visitors during the art fair, including providing a general introduction to the gallery, exhibiting artworks and artists
- Act as liaison between art fair organizer and the gallery if necessary
- Perform day-to-day administrative activities and report to the gallery staff, including gathering sales inquiries and client information, and participate in post-fair online briefing
- Maintain appearances for the booth and help ensure the safety of artworks
Skills & experience required:
- Proven customer service skills
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
- Used to working in a busy environment using initiative
- Proactive and pragmatic attitude
- Experience of working in a gallery or institution would be useful
Dates of employment: 13 to 17 October with some training in preceding weeks
