Key Responsibilities and Accountabilities
Co-Leading advertising sales in the UK and EMEA across the following products: frieze magazine, Frieze Week and Frieze’s digital offering (frieze.com, newsletter, social media)
Identify new market opportunities and client segments within the arts and culture sector
Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with current advertisers and potential clients
Act as the primary point of contact for clients, ensuring timely and effective communication
Provide clients with creative solutions to meet their advertising needs
Representing frieze at gallery dinners and openings on a regular basis
Work with the Publisher and Editorial team on strategy for frieze in the UK & EMEA to grow advertising revenue
Advise on marketing and distribution requirements in the region
Maintain and update the customer database to increase frieze’s network
Prepare regular sales reports and forecasts for management.
Track advertising revenue and performance against sales goals

International travel to attend Frieze fairs and Events in Europe

Knowledge and Experience
Mandatory
Excellent knowledge of the contemporary art industry and its stakeholders (gallery and museum directors, communcation managers, agencies, artists, curators)
Minimum 5 years of sales experience in advertising (print and digital products)
Client network in the UK/EMEA (particularly in London)
Proven track record of achieving sales targets and driving revenue growth
High Experience in client-facing roles
Experience of managing a wide range of activities and the ability to prioritise and meet deadlines
Ability to work under high pressure, with high attention to detail
Excellent negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills
Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite
Desirable
Knowledge of Google analytics and Adobe Products
Ability to speak additional language(s) a plus
