The Estate of Ana Mendieta's Archive Visit will now take place on Tuesday April, from 5pm – 6pm.
Private viewing of selected materials from the Estate of Ana Mendieta Archive at Galerie Lelong & Co. with Raquel Cecilia Mendieta, the artist’s niece and Associate Administrator of the Estate. The visit will focus on Mendieta’s notebooks which contain drawings, preparatory sketches, and writings. Works by Mendieta will be on view and Raquel’s short film, Ana Mendieta, Nature Inside which features the artist speaking about her work and practice, will be screened.
