Klowden Mann hosts a private walkthrough of Katie Herzog's new exhibition, Yankee Candle.  Herzog will discuss the materials and concepts behind the variety of painting techniques she uses to look at Americanist ideology, narratives, and surfaces.

Katie Herzog (b. 1979, Palo Alto) received a BFA from RISD in 2001 and MFA from UCSD in 2005.  Her exhibitions in LA include Klowden Mann, Night Gallery, Circus Gallery and many others. Artist residencies include Skowhegan, The Banff Centre, Bblackboxx, Ox-Bow, PIAAC Berlin, and Soulangh Artist Village, Taiwan.  Public collections include LACMA, Thomas J. Dodd, RISD, and Tom of Finland, among others.
