Frieze Connect Members are invited to join Sophia Harari for a collection of conversations exploring how artists, curators and cultural practitioners of the diaspora are reimagining the archive.
From making to collecting to speculative worldbuilding, the invited speakers are developing alternative paths to memory, narrative and legacy.
These discussions will consider what it means to have an embodied, collective archive. How the radical and de-colonial are the foundations of Our Practice.
Featuring: A'isha Odera Mu’azu, Ama Dogbe, Lydia Dique, Fat-Lïp, Tolúwalọpẹ́ Eluṣadé and Tosin Adeosun.
Sophia Harari is the 2024 DB Curatorial Fellow at The Whitworth Art Gallery, Manchester.
