Dickinson presents Spectrum, a curated selection of 20th Century works exploring the significance and meaning of colour in art and featuring examples from OpArt, Pop, Minimalism and other landmark Modern movements. In conjunction with the online exhibition, Dickinson’s Head of Research Dr Molly Dorkin will host intimate half-hour gallery tours at 58 Jermyn Street, W1. Molly will draw on works from the exhibition as well as old master and 19th century examples to offer a comprehensive survey of the colour spectrum, featuring highlights by Yves Klein, Josef Albers, Lucio Fontana and more. Dickinson has chosen Spectrum in honour of the recent use of the rainbow as a tribute to key workers during the Covid-19 pandemic.
