On the occasion of his solo exhibition The sudden longing to collapse 30 years of distance, please join artist Toby Ziegler for an in-depth walkthrough of the exhibition.

The new works on view consist of a group of large geometric, non-figurative works on paper, reminiscent of Ziegler’s early works, juxtaposed with a group of smaller more figurative oil paintings on aluminium, which refer to works by Poussin and Jan Van Eyck amongst others. These works are installed in the gallery alongside an immersive multi-projector video installation that will periodically project a barrage of images across the entire gallery space, including the 2D works on display.
